The 2023 Blue Jeans Workshop will be hosted by our Foundational Sponsor the Metropolitan Washington Council of Governments. Please reference the below information for day of transportation options.

Due to limited parking, COG strongly urges guests to use public transportation.
By Metrorail/Bus:
On Metrorail, guests should take the red line to Union Station. Make sure to take the north exit onto First Street, NE (When exiting the train, the north exit escalator is at the end of the platform). Turn right on to First Street. Walk two blocks and turn left onto G Place (not to be confused with G Street, which is a block before G Place). COG is located at the corner G Place and North Capitol Street. By Commuter Rail:
Guests can also take the MARC (Maryland Area Regional Commuter) Train Service and VRE (Virginia Railway Express) to Union Station. For the MARC home page, click here. For the VRE home page, click here.
By Bike:
There is a Capital Bikeshare station in front of the COG building on North Capitol Street. There is also a Capital Bikeshare station on F Street NW, just west of North Capitol Street. For more information go to www.capitalbikeshare.com.
There is a bike rack near COG’s front entrance on 777 North Capitol Street NE. Long-term, free bicycle parking is available on the first floor of COG’s Parking Garage. Enter through the First Street, NE, entrance. First Street, NE, has bike lanes and connects to the Metropolitan Branch Trail. By Car:

COG’s Parking Garage:
The COG garage is operated by Stoladi, and it only accepts credit or debit cards as payment. The parking garage entrance is on First Street NE. For custom directions to COG’s parking garage, click here (Google Maps).
If you do drive to COG and discover that our garage is full, other nearby parking garages in the area can be found by clicking here. The lot with the greatest number of spaces is located at Union Station.
